To the right, we see the site of the attack - "Ground Zero" - a few days after the attacks. The triangular structure is the remains of the one of the World Trade Towers buildings. Like a Gothic cathedral. It is very beautiful, if we can forget what it represents.

In the lower portion of this section, we see, hidden among grasses, numerous "Mission" posters. In the weeks following the attacks, the families and friends of those lost posted “Missing” notices around the city, asking readers to please contact them if they had seen this person or had any information. The psychology of this was deeply moving. Many New Yorkers spent hours carefully reading poster after poster, word by word. The families themselves, touchingly, persisted for weeks in posting these notices and in using the word “Missing” , even though it soon became obvious that those missing were dead.
