In the mural version of this image, live-action video of the passers-by is displayed on a video screen embedded into the mural wall (here, the rectangular are at the bottom of the image.). The live video of the passers-by is composited in real-tme with a field of colors and line, which partially obsure the people. We are visible, we see ourselves, but not clearly. We must pause and look closely to understand. The live video is shot from a tiny camera concealed within the mural wall.
In the print version of this image, the live-video is replaced by a similar still image.
